Juniper Willow Vizi

With immeasurable love and profound sorrow, Nicholas and Alannah (Pond) Vizi announce the birth and passing of their precious daughter, Juniper Willow "Junie" Vizi, who was stillborn on August 5, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio.

Although her time on earth was far too brief, Junie's life was deeply meaningful. During pregnancy, she was diagnosed with Turner syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects females and occurs when one of the X chromosomes is missing or partially missing. Turner syndrome can lead to a variety of medical complications, including serious heart and developmental conditions. From the very beginning, Junie showed incredible strength, surpassing expectations and continuing to grow far longer than her doctors had anticipated. She was a tiny but mighty fighter, surrounded every moment by the unwavering love of her family.

As Nicholas and Alannah's first child, Junie was cherished long before they were able to hold her. Her parents lovingly prepared for her arrival, creating a whimsical, woodsy nursery adorned with the warmth and beauty of autumn, eagerly anticipating welcoming her into the world that October. Though those dreams changed, the love they have for their daughter will remain forever.

Junie's family finds comfort in their faith, believing she now rests safely in Heaven, watching over them as their guardian angel. Shortly before her passing, during a family cookout, a beautiful blue dragonfly lingered comfortably among Alannah and her loved ones; a gentle and unexpected reminder of Junie's presence that has become a treasured symbol of her spirit. In her memory, Nicholas and Alannah planted a willow tree in their yard, where its graceful branches will stand as a lasting reminder of their sweet daughter and the enduring love she brought into their lives.

Junie is survived by her loving parents, Nicholas and Alannah (Pond) Vizi; her grandparents, Laura Tenney, Lawrence (Cheryl) Pond, and Deanna and Charles Vizi Jr.; her aunts and uncles, Aleighsha (Josh) Bekier, Zachary Tenney, London Tenney, Delilah Tenney, Ashley (Neal) Periatt, and Lauren (Ryan) Powell; her great-grandparents, Calvin (Kay) Wadsworth; her cousins, Scarlett and Alistair Bekier, and Annabelle and Paisley Periatt; along with many other family members who eagerly awaited and already loved her.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Donna and David Baker, Charles Vizi Sr., and David and Rebecca Pond.

Though Junie's footprints were never left upon this earth, she forever changed the hearts of those who loved her. Her life, however brief, is a testament to hope, courage, unconditional love, and the everlasting bond between a child and her family.
