June Elaine Walters

June Elaine Walters, age 74, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born in Wooster, Ohio on May 15, 1941 to Roscoe and Florence (Gerstenslager) Rich. Junes greatest calling was to be a Wife, Mom and Grandma. She and Dick created an open and inviting home that everyone liked to stop by and visit or spend time telling stories. June appreciated having fun with others and her ornery nature kept the laughter going and everyone on their toes. The family also enjoyed many memorable moments on Middle Bass Island during the summers. June is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Richard Dick children, Darcy (Al) Berardi; Ken (Laurie); Matt (Audra) and Marty (Dave) Klostermeyer; grandchildren, Noah and Dylan Walters; Seth and Mya Walters and Emma Klostermeyer; and sister, Marilyn Monga Rich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Moran. A celebration of Junes Life will be held at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
