June B. Petz

June was born on June 15, 1929 in Perrysburg, Ohio and passed away in her home on Friday, December 15, 2017. She married Robert on August 18th, 1951 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg, Ohio. June is survived by her loving husband, Robert; children, Judy (Tony) D’Arcangelo, Jim (A) Petz, Karen (Keith) Nelson, Amy (Troy) Jasinski; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine (Frank) Billings, Mary Rogers; sisters-in-law, Joanne Schwind, Josephine Petz, Margaret Richards; brother-in-law, Dick Johnston; and many loving nieces and nephews. June and Bob enjoyed going to their cottage in Indiana. She enjoyed working in her flowers and going on pontoon rides with her family. June was very proud of living on the farm on Ft. Meigs Road with her parents and her siblings. She would work in the fields hoeing tomatoes and picking sugar beets along with “Daddy” and her siblings. Playing in the barn with all the animals and her siblings in the hay mow. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Joseph and Lillian Schwind; sisters Lucille Rathbun, Irene Donahue, Helen Kilmer, Irma Hutchinson, Kathleen Hartman, Jackie Ault, Dorothy Johnston; brothers Joseph and Harold Schwind; and her granddaughter, Jennifer D’Arcangelo. Friends and family will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 222 E. S. Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Rose Catholic Church 215 East Front St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 beginning 10:30 a.m. Burial is to follow at St. Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider St. Rose Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
