June Lucille Peck

June Lucille Peck, age 67, passed away on October 8, 2008 at Flower Hospital. She was born on June 23, 1941 to Lynn and Hollis Beard Hall in Toledo. A graduate of Whitmer High School, she was an employed by Owen Illinois as a secretary for 20 years. June loved dancing to oldies, rock and roll and country line dancing. She loved to cook, enjoyed sewing, yard work and quiet walks. June spoiled her grandchildren with their overnight stays with her. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, the OI Golden Emblem Club, and the Maumee Elks. She is survived by her children, Julia Ziems Todd, Fred Ziems II, Todd Christina Ziems and Joe Sarah Ziems; grandchildren, Emma, Eric, Kurt, Hazel, Elena, Emily, Harry, and Jack; faithful companion, Cleo; brother, Wayne Lynn Rose Hall; sisters, Florence Fred Craw and Betty Beamer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Peck; parents, Lynn Hollis Hall; brothers, Wyman Hall and Gene Hall. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd.. from 4 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11 am at Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 W. Sylvania Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
