June Evelyn Pasch age 94 of Toledo passed away suddenly Sunday, December 23, 2012 un UT Medical Center. She was born July 6, 1918 in Orland, Indiana to Wilford and Mabel Thaxton. She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Toledo but retired to raise her family. Blessed with a beautiful soprano voice she sang in many operettas, weddings and church services. She was a past Choir Director for the Lady Shriners and was Directress Emeritus for Dendarah Court No. 10 L.O.S.N.A. She enjoyed sewing for her 4 daughters and also enjoyed cooking always having enough food for unexpected guests, and was famous for her fried chicken and strawberry pie. She also enjoyed travelling to exotic places with her late husband and especially enjoyed their favorite trip, an Alaskan cruise. June was a member of the UT Alumni Association and was still a UT season ticket holder, past member of Pi Phi Mothers Club, an active member of the Burroughs School Mothers Club where she chaperoned many school activities and was one of the first members of the Zoo Loos which is now the Toledo Zoological Society. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert J. Pasch who died in 2003 she is also preceded in death by brother LaVon Keefe and sister Helen Brown. Surviving are her daughters Patti Dwight Leimer, Dianne Ron Curtis, Robin Larry Bissonnette and Kathy Robert Stone; grandchildren Corey Priya Leimer, Amy Jason Wallace, Todd Karen Curtis, Jenni Szelesta, Amy Brett Paolinelli, Kristy Steve Martin, Sara Weber, Collette Adam Jimenez, Jessica Josh Masiker and Steve Cathy Galbreth; 18 great grandchildren; sister Virginia Mundwiler; loving cousin Dorothy Siebert; and dear friends Bill and Ellie Raetzke. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Friday from 2-8 PM where the Dendarah Court of the Ladies Oriental Shrine will conduct services at 7 PM. Further visitation will continue Saturday at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at Broadway and Glendale Ave, where services will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests memorials to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Shriner Burn Hospital Galveston, TX. or Toledo Humane Society. Condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com
