June Glass

We lost our beloved June on Saturday, July 8th, following complications from open heart surgery. She continued her late husband’s legacy, by working, owning and operating Paradise Acres Campground & Marina and enjoying her “Happy Campers”. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed Traveling, Flowers, Reading, Music and Baking. She was known for her delicious Christmas cookies that she gave to friends and loved ones. June was born August 13th, 1938 to Eva and Fernando Mourray. She was married to Marvin E Glass for almost 50 years, together they had 6 children. She was a young military wife when they had their twin girls, Karen and Kim. The girls were followed by the middle child Marv, who was their Christmas miracle. She went on to be the first women to have triplets at St Charles hospital, giving birth to Julie, John & Jack. She is preceded in death by Marvin E Glass and her parents. She is survived by her companion Dave Fink; her children, Karen (James) Brenner, Kim Duke, Marvin (Monika) Glass, Julie (Scott) Finken, John (Tina) Glass and Jack (Terri) Glass; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joseph (Alice )Mourray, Phillip Mourray, Fernando (Anne) Mourray, Thomas (Karen) Mourray and Theresa (Craig) Emahiser.

Visitation for June will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral & Crematory, 165 East Water Street, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, OH.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr Bashara, Dr Ramenathia, and Dr Vargo and the entire staff at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to Alliance Church of Oak Harbor, Wreaths Across America (Lake Township) and The American Heart Association.
