June Dameworth

June Elaine (Casey) Dameworth, age 89, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 25, 2023, at Storypoint Waterville Assisted Living Facility, where she resided. June was born November 6, 1933, in Toledo, the daughter of Roland and Doris (Lary) Casey. June was a 1951 graduate of Whitney Vocational High School and was a secretary for Jewish Family Services, until her retirement. On November 17, 1951, she married the love of her life, Ron Dameworth and the two have enjoyed 71 years of unconditional love and memories together.

One of her favorite pastimes was working picture and crossword puzzles, as well as sitting outside, enjoying her husband, Ron’s, beautiful flowers. She especially loved to play board games and card games with her grandchildren when they were younger. She was very proud of her family and looked forward to family get togethers, especially on holidays. Christmas being her favorite. She was a beautiful decorator and would decorate every corner of her house! She will deeply missed by all her friends and family.

June is survived by her loving husband, Ron Dameworth; daughters, Elaine (Dale) Valley, Brenda (Tim Cousino) Stamper, Karen (Steve) Findlay; grandchildren, Brianne Valley, Megan (Tyler) Kershner, Christopher (Aubree) Donovan, Brian Stamper, and Stephanie Findlay; great- grandchildren, Makenna, Lathon, and Cohen Donovan, and Sloane Kershner; sister Doris (Bill) Mauder; sister-in-law Carmen (Bill) Dameworth; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 3:00 to 8:00PM in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
