June Bolyard Philabaum of Holland, OH, died August 26, at Hospice of Perrysburg surrounded by her loving family. June started her career with Lucas Co. Bank as a teller and later retired from Huntington Bank in 1987. She came out of retirement briefly to cook for the children at Kinder Care Learning Center. She nourished their minds and bodies. As a long time member of Providence Lutheran Church, she enjoyed serving God and the church for over 35 years. June enjoyed worshipping with friends and family. She loved to worship in song with the old Bible Hymns. Her faith was strong and she shared it with anyone she came in contact with. June enjoyed life, her family and her friends. She loved to cook and see people enjoy her cooking. Some of her secret recipes are her familys treasured memories. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Virgil; her son, Johnny; her daughter Jan and twin brother, Alfred Philabaum. June leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Nancy and Christine, son-in-law, John, granddaughters, Rabyn, Jessica and Kaitlyn and brother, Pastor Bernie Philabaum. She also has countless nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly. Friends will be received on Thursday August 28, 2008 at Providence Lutheran Church 8131 Airport Hwy. Holland from 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm The family would like to thank the entire staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, her faithful friends and the community of Village Meadows for their care, concern and support.
