He met his wife Eva Majoros in Budapest while studying at the University. They both fled Hungary during the 1956 revolution and were married in Vienna, Austria. He began his career in Toledo at the Maumee Malleable Company working as a Pattern maker. His career then led him to Progressive Industries as a Tool and Die Maker. After 17 years he moved onto the D & B Machine and Tool Company as the General Manager before starting his own business - the Jet Tool and Prototype Company. He was well known in the industry as the Leader in Prototype metal stamping manufacturing. During his career, his passion for skill trades led him to train many Journeymen Tool and Die Makers.
He enjoyed traveling through Europe and the United States with his family. While at home, he followed the Detroit Tigers, Toledo Rockets/Ohio State Football and always enjoyed a good round of golf. He always talked about his Hungarian heritage and supported many functions at Epiphany of the Lord Parish - St. Stephen Church. He always enjoyed a good Szalonnasutes - the Hungarian way.
It was faith, family, and friends that gave him the strength to get through life's challenges.
