Julie Ann Hill

Julie Ann Hill, 60, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, surrounded by family in Perrysburg, Ohio. Julie was born August 8, 1962, in Sandusky, Ohio to David and Molly Roper.

Julie’s faith was very important to her, and she was a member of CedarCreek Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was outgoing and fun loving. She loved a good adventure, especially white water rafting and anything that involved being at the beach and soaking up the sun. She enjoyed cooking, gathering with friends and family, and hosting parties. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends and is another life lost too soon.

Julie is survived by her children; Amanda Boyd and Wesley Hill; granddaughter, Sara Murphy; mother, Molly Roper; siblings, Bill (Norma) Roper and Sherri Armstrong and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Hill and father, David Roper.

Friends and family will be received Friday, February 3, 2023, from 3-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where visitation will continue Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Julie’s name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Kristi Hill’s Scholarship Fund by making checks payable to the Delaware County Foundation.
