Julie A. Gray

Julie A. Gray, age 57, of Maumee, died July 19, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born October 24, 1960 in Toledo to the late Thomas and Carole (Woggermon) Gray. Julie graduated from DeVilbiss High School and then the University of Toledo with a business degree. She worked for many years selling mortgages for several area lenders. In her free time, Julie enjoyed doing crafts, spending time at her house at Devils Lake, MI and traveling with her mother. Strong-willed and independent, Julie will also be remembered for her great sense of humor. Surviving are her brothers, Marcus Gray (Susan MacPhee) and Randolph Gray (Virginia Ortega); sisters-in-law, Ximena Gray and Diane Gray Spino; nieces, Natalie Gray and Mia Ortega Gray; and nephew, Dominick Gray. She was also preceded in death by brother, Kim Gray in 1978. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Monday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where a service to celebrate Julies life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Julie will be laid to rest with her family at Greens Lakeside Cemetery in Manitou Beach, Michigan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
