Julie Gilk

Julie Gilk of Maumee passed away Friday, September 3, 2010, at the age of 83. She was born on January 2, 1927, in Clinton, PA, to Julia and Paul Madaras. Julie enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Julie was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. Surviving are her brother, John Shirley Madaras, children, Jules Rita Nye, Rachael George Gavin, Robyn Arvin Cash and Bonnie Phillip Ruddick Gilk, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday from 4-7 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. Services are on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
