Julia F. Terry of Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. She was 100 years old. She was born to Emma and Charles Gordon in Oak Harbor, Ohio on September 23, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick S. Terry, Jr. on May 1, 2002. They were married on October 2, 1937. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers, Charles and Robert Gordon. She is survived by three children, Gordon (Carol) Terry, Julia (James) Lehman, and Donald (Tatiana) Terry. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Paul (Jennifer) Terry; Maria (Shawn) Galbraith, Rebecca Terry, Sarah Terry, and Thomas Lehman. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Maggie May Galbraith, Brett Anthony Terry, and Bailey Ann Terry. Julia was a beautiful lady and a beautiful soul. She took delight in the natural world including bird watching, sky watching, flowers and all of natures creatures. She had a positive outlook on life and took opportunities to develop her artistic, musical and home decorating talents. She was a gifted pianist and could play by ear almost any music she had heard. She recently played the piano at her 100th birthday party at Kingston Residence in Perrysburg. She also developed her artistic skills at Kingston by creating many watercolors and other art pieces that are treasured by her family. She was an avid reader and she and her husband Fred were members of the Great Books Club. She had a practiced eye for quality antiques and prints, and used them skillfully in her home. She loved cats, was a member of the Maumee United Methodist Church, and had a great fashion sense. She had a gracious nature and was an unfailing source of love, caring, and humanity. She will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her. She was a lady for the ages. With many thanks to Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. Services will be private - immediate family only. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Ohio next to her husband.
