Julia A. Nassar

Julia A. Nassar, age 81, passed on to eternal life on Saturday March 12, 2011 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on Oct. 9, 1929 in Huntington, W. VA. She was married to Hafiz A. Nassar in Toledo on Jan. 6, 1951who came from Al- Kfeir, Lebanon. Hafiz and Julia lived in Toledo since then and were members of St. Elias Orthodox Christian Church on Harroun Rd. They were business owners of the Basset Nut Co. for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hafiz A. Nassar. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Nabih A. Nassar, and many nieces & nephews. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 4-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd with Trisagion thrice Holy Prayers at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM at St. Elias Orthodox Christian Church, 4940 Harroun Rd Sylvania, OH with Rev. Ayman Kfouf and Very Rev. Joseph Antypas.
