Judy K. Rodriguez

Judy K. Rodriguez, age 74, of Toledo, passed peacefully on April 25, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice with her loving family by her side. She was born December 12, 1940 in Toledo to the late Lawrence and Julia (Dumas) Hessenuis. Judy was employed as a Nurses Assistant with Lake Park for more than 23 years. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, crochet and working in her yard. She was an animal lover, especially her dog Susie, but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Judy was a terrific wife, mother and grandmother. Though a fiery redhead, she was the peacemaker of the family - always kind and generous to a fault. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 53 years, Godfrey Rodriguez; sons, David and Jeffrey Rodriguez; ten grandchildren, David Jr., Desarae, Destini, Bridgette, Ramon, Jeffrey II, Jaclyn, Jesse, Coty James and Brett; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Barnes. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) and conclude with services to celebrate Judys life at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
