Judy Lynn Petree

Judy Lynn Grannie Petree, age 55, of Toledo, died January 29, 2015. A native of Toledo, she was born July 2, 1959 to the late Herman and Irene Petree. Grannie enjoyed time spent with family and loved ones more than anything. She was a brave and feisty woman who spoke her mind and stood up for others. She could cheer up anyone simply by being her genuine self. Grannie was also very resourceful and had a knack for making things nice. She is lovingly survived by her children, Julie and Roberto (Raquel) Alvarado; grandchildren, Sierra, Carlos III, Alicia, Bionca, Mia, Roberto Jr. and Raquel; great grandson, Carlos IV; sister, Donna (Roger) Wagoner; uncle, Roger Petree; former husband and friend, Robert Alvarado; and lifelong friend, Orville Hill. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Petree. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
