Judy Rae Nichpor, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 11, 2026.

Born on April 25, 1955, Judy was the daughter of William "Marshall" and Roberta Weaver. She graduated Rossford High School in 1972. Judy retired in 2022 from the Lucas County Board of Commissioners after many years of service.

Judy was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and her family above all else. Her faith was a guiding part of her life. She was originally an active member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and later attended Athens Missionary Baptist Church in Walbridge, Ohio.

Judy's family was her pride and joy. She devoted her life to loving and supporting her children and grandchildren, and she especially cherished watching her grandchildren participate in their many sporting events throughout the years. Her presence and encouragement will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta Weaver and William "Marshall" Weaver, and her late husband, Daniel Nichpor.

Judy is survived by her two sons, Preston Baker (Rebecca Baker); Wesley Baker and her beloved grandchildren, Noah, Sydney, and Kylie.

Judy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, and the love and support she gave so freely to those around her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her faith was strong and that she is now at peace.

She will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered by her family and all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Homes, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Visitation will continue Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highlands Memorial Gardens. 8308 S. River Road, Waterville Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions in Judy's name to Athens Missionary Baptist Church in Walbridge, Ohio.
