Judy Vischer, age 74, passed away Thursday Dec. 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of F. Daniel and Adeline Biker, she was born Aug. 30, 1939 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Whitmer High School in 1957. Judy ran Scotchway Cleaners Laundromat with her husband Norm, until the late 1970s. Then changed careers and became a successful realtor until present. She had an adventurous spirit which allowed her to be extremely open and encouraging to her sons in whatever they did. In fact, she was the goalie for the boys when playing hockey in the back yard and at one time raced snowmobiles. After her marriage to Jim, she became an excellent fisherman. Nothing brought more joy to Judys life than being a mom, aunt and grandma. Judy was the most generous, loving and genuine wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister anyone could know. She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Dan Kellie Dessum, Jeff Dessum, Chip Deb Dessum, Jimmy Barbara Vischer, Brian Marie Vischer; grandchildren, Katelyn Dylan Meinert, Katrina Boyle, Kylie, J.C., Josh, Dani, Sami, Doug; great granddaughter, Samie Joe; sister, Pat Jim Dickey; niece KariChad Vaculik; great niece nephew, Joshua and Ashlyn.
