Judith Ann Throne passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on February 14, 1939, to Harold and Fern Naumann.
Judith graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 1957 and went on to attend the University of Toledo for a short time. On September 15, 1959, she married Jerry David Throne, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, devotion, and family.
Judith was the very definition of selfless. She always put others first and loved unconditionally, seeing the best in everyone she met. She was a trusted confidante, a source of comfort and wisdom, and someone whose kindness touched all who knew her. Judith loved to paint and sketch in her free time, expressing her creativity and gentle spirit through her art.
Throughout her life, Judith worked at Jacobson’s and later alongside her husband at Throne Auto Service. Wherever she was, she treated everyone with warmth, kindness, and genuine care.
Above all, Judith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love will continue to live on through them and the countless lives she touched.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Fern Naumann; her sisters, Diane (Fritz) Holmes and Sharon (Dale) Hanson; her siblings Skip Naumann, Charles Naumann, Emily Naumann, and Kathryn (Richard) Brunt; and her in-laws, Hazel and Oral Throne.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Jerry Throne; her children, Jody (Dan) Bruck, Julie (Duke) Hearons, Jill (Brian) Morse, Jennifer (John) Hooper, David Throne, and Gretchen Throne; her grandchildren, Daniel Bruck, Adam Bruck, Patrick Bruck, Annie (Douglas) Glenn, Mary Emily (Chad) Kinshaw, Madeline (Jonathan) Weiss, Tess Hearons, Tom Gallagher, Nick (Julia) Morse, Ted Morse, Alex (Maggie Rose) Morse, Maggie (Evan) Ahlgren, Sam Hooper, Catherine Hooper, Sarah Hooper, Ashley Throne, and Reagan Throne; and her great-grandchildren, George, Marry Collins, Henry, Janie, Louise, Margart, Brayden, Parker, Dawson, Axel, Adelaide, Haven, and Hudson; sister Mary Lynn (Tim) Case.
The family extends special thanks to Dynasty and Patrice Ellis for the excellent care they provided to Judith, to Jean Areddy and all the other family and friends who visited often, and to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care and support until the very end.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:30 am, with a visitation an hour prior.
Judith will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, gentle strength, and unwavering devotion to others.
