Judith Mae Overmyer

Judith Mae Overmyer, 70, of Oak Harbor, died Thursday, August 19, 2010, in her home. Judy was born April 5, 1940, in Green Springs, Ohio, to Glenn and Helen E. Vought Tusing. On May 28, 1957, in Oak Harbor she married Donald Overmyer, who survives her. She was a homemaker and farm wife and had worked for Pioneer Sugar and the Eagles in Fremont. Judy was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor. Her many hobbies included raising cows and ducks, working crossword puzzles, and watching soap operas. Judy especially enjoyed her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Don, Judy is survived by her children, Michael Lee Overmyer and Lisa Lynn Brian Butzin, grandsons, Brayden Lee and Brennan Lane Butzin, and sister, Tonya Douge. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Barb Coleman. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, where visitation will be two hours prior from 9-11 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. The family has suggested memorials for Judy to Mid-County EMS or St. John Ev. Lutheran Church.
