Judith Hepkema

Judith Hepkema, 68, of Catawba Island passed away Tuesday, August 04, 2009. She was born on February 14, 1941 in Olean, NY, the daughter of William E. and Ann Wright Foote. She is survived by her beloved husband, Philip Hepkema, whom she married on September 8, 2000 at the Catawba Island Club. For 18 years Judith worked as a medical insurance professional. Later she applied her flair for decorating to becoming a professional floral designer. Jude enjoyed serving as First Mate for her husband Phil on the After-U fishing charter service. Judith will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, her loving family and friends. Other Survivors include: Daughter: Elizabeth Kim Dimmer; Sons: Neal Alexa Suvak and Eric Patricia Suvak; 7 Grandchildren; Brothers & Sisters: Alan G. Foote, Marjorie Andrews, William E. Foote Jr., Nina S. Harvey and Carolyn Dooley. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, son: James S. Suvak and brother: Frederick P. Foote. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9PM, Friday, August 07, 2009, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
