Judith Ann Floro of Genoa, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on October 15, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 19,1946 to Darrell and Phyllis Waggoner. In 1976, she moved to Florida where she enjoyed raising her children for many years. Judi loved spending time going to the ocean to swim and watch the dolphins play. She was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and loved watching the games with her family. On December 2, 1995, she married Steve Floro and the two spent 26 years together.
Judi was one of the kindest people that anyone could know and was always willing to go above and beyond to help others. Throughout all of her years of life she worked various jobs but it wasn't until she moved back to Ohio to be closer to her family that she found her passion for gardening and making flower arrangements. She worked for the last 25 years at Hirzel Brothers Florist where she was able to do what she loved. She passed her love for gardening to her two sons Kenny and Greg. She loved listening to old music and having her daughters, Dawn and Briana guess who the artists were. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved doing crafts and making gifts for family and friends. She was also famous for her mac & cheese and delicious cheeseballs. Judi was the matriarch of the family and will be deeply missed by so many.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents Darrell and Phyllis Waggoner and Brothers, Kenny and Phillip. She is survived by her loving husband; Steve Floro, Children Kenny (Julie) Pierson, Dawn Gartee, Greg (Karen) Pierson, Briana (Anthony) Urban, Siblings; Raymond (Sharon) Waggoner, Sue Waggoner, David (Judy) Waggoner, Sharon (Colleen) Waggoner, Mike (Lisa) Waggoner, Laura (Melvin) Hart, Grandchildren; Dustin (Ashley) Pierson, Kaitlin (Austin) Chandler, Spencer (Brittany) Saha, Donald (Kellie) Guhl, Haley Guhl (Donny Dotson) Joshua, Nathan and Grace Pierson, 11 Great Grandchildren, many Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Judi will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. Immediately following the visitation, family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the Genoa American Legion Post #324, 302 West Street, Genoa, Ohio.
