Judith Carol Carpenter

Judith Carol Carpenter, 73, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 27, 1941 in Oak Harbor, OH, the daughter of Herbert and Laura (Shaffer) Mosley. She was married to Thomas Carpenter for 52 years and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2012. Judith was a member of Erie Shores Assembly of God Church, Port Clinton, OH. She enjoyed playing cards and game night with family and friends. Judith loved family gatherings and winters in Florida. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Gretchen (Jon) Rich and Laura (Travis) Cook, both of Port Clinton; Son: Thomas (Bridget) Carpenter of Ocala, FL; Grandchildren: Jessica, Beau, Amanda and Amber; 8 Great-Grandchildren and Sister: Donna (Jim) Shiets of Port Clinton. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 6 sisters and a granddaughter: April. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Erie Shores Assembly of God Church, 220 South Gill Rd., Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Erie Shores Assembly of God Church. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
