Joyce Lee Shank

Joyce L. Shank, 84, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1933 in Lake Township, Ohio to George and Alta (Harpel) Lindell. Joyce married her loving husband, Frederick W. Shank, on May 23, 1953 in Toledo; he preceded her in death in 2011. She was a graduate of Lake High School Class of 1951 and a member of the Triune Chapter #344 Order of the Eastern Star, and Somerset United Methodist Church. She worked at Rossford Ordnance Depot, Toledo Chamber of Commerce and Keidan’s Jewelers. She is survived by her children; Thomas L. (Laura) Shank, Sandra L. (Mark) Spang; and grandchildren, Benjamin M. Spang, Lily M. Spang, Elijah E. Spang, Martin T. Shank, Keith G. Shank. She was preceded in death by her husband; and son, Steven P. Shank. Friends will be received on Monday, November 20, 2017 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 A.M. conducted by Pastor Joshua Kaiser of OneHope Church. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
