Joyce C Russell

Joyce C. Russell Joyce A. Russell, 76, of Walbridge died October 6, 2014 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born on October 28, 1937 to Luther (Marguerite Trotzier) Melcher. She was a self-employed travel agent who traveled to Hawaii 150 times. She and her husband spent four years there and enjoyed having family and friends visit. Joyce also worked for the Outrigger Hotels in Hawaii as a travel agent. She married Robert Russell on June 4, 1955 in Monroe, Michigan and he survives. Also surviving are their loving children: Cynthia (Tommy) Bruechert, James (Maria) Russell, Jon Russell, Seven Grandchildren, Seventeen Great-Grandchildren, and her grand dog Taffy. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) from 2-8 PM Friday, where funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
