Joyce M. Luebcke

Joyce M. Luebcke, 66, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the E.R. at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on February 12, 1952 in Fremont, OH to William and Grace (Fick) Almendinger. On February 21, 1970 in Oak Harbor she married John I. Luebcke, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1995. Joyce worked as a waitress at the former Leona’s Grill, Oak Harbor, the Oak Harbor Golf Club, and the Oak Harbor Hotel for many years. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Joyce enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searches, camping, outings with her brother and sister, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Jody (Gary) Durivage, Kristy (Mark) Dunwoody, Kelly (Larry Thompson) Luebcke, and Nicole (Jonathan) Royster, grandchildren, Billy (Sydni) Durivage, Samantha (Chelsea Greene) Durivage, Randy Dunwoody, John Dunwoody, Steven (Dominique) Noftz, Kayla Noftz, Sarah Luebcke, Connor Luebcke, Cohen Royster and Kayleigh Royster, great grandchildren, Cameron Ridley, Hunter Noftz, John Monnett, and Jayce Dunwoody, brother, Tom Almendinger, sister, Carol (Gary) Harlow, sisters-in-law, Karen (Fred) Slessman, and Michelle (Paul) Dugan, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E Water St, Oak Harbor, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Joyce may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
