Joyce Ann Lohr

Joyce Ann Lohr, age 80, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Goerlich Center.  She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on November 8, 1934 to Clark and Dorothy (Cramer) McClurg.  Joyce was a dedicated registered nurse and a supervisor in the obstetrics and gynecology unit at the former Riverside Hospital.  She had an outstanding love for children having fostered 32 children over the years. Joyce loved to play the piano and loved her church, Epworth United Methodist. She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Susan Shuman and Matthew Lohr; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4855 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43615.  Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home.
