Joyce Ann Lemon

Joyce Ann Lemon, age 77 of Swanton passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Flower Hospital. She was born June 29, 1945 in Toledo to Charles and Martha Gleason. A graduate of Rogers High School, she was a deli clerk for over 30 years for the Kroger Company retiring in 2009. A past member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, she enjoyed working in her yard.

The widow of Charles D. Lemon, she was also preceded in death by son, Thomas Lee Lemon; parents; brother, Bud Ankey; sisters, Barbara Staiffer and May Jo Prather; sister-in-law Dianne Gleason and brother-in-law William Ely. Surviving is her daughter, Tammy (John) Fehser; son, Robert Lemon; foster son, Blake Browning; grandchildren, Justin (Megan) Fehser and Bradley (Sylvia) Fehser Brandy Lemon and Jeanna; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Ely; brothers, Robert and Charles Gleason, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; her dog, Princess; and extended family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Saturday, February 25, 2023 after 2 PM where funeral services will follow at 6 PM. The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
