Joyce Irene Harteis

Joyce I. Harteis, age 85, passed away on February 2, 2025. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine Gose, Sr.; husband, Harvey “Buck” Harteis; brothers, Charles Jr “Oscar”, Bob, Walter, Fred, and John Gose; and twin sister, June Gose. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Kurt) Hoffman and Cheryl Surgo; sisters, Hazel Charles, Minerva “Pug” Heath, Mary Munoz, and Eva Nagel; grandchildren, Christina, Erin, James, and Ryan; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH, on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
