Joyce A. Haddix

Joyce A. Haddix, 83, of Genoa, passed away Monday afternoon, December 12, 2011, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Joyce was born November 20, 1928, in Bradner, Ohio, to Louis E. and Hazel Kille Bowers. On September 1, 1951, in Lindsey, Ohio, she married Frank Haddix, who preceded her in death March 8, 2002. Joyce was a homemaker and had been a member of the Eastern Stars. Joyce is survived by her son, Rick Patricia Haddix of Fostoria, two grandchildren, Heath and Kim Haddix of Findlay, and sisters, Faye McLaughlin of Zanesville and Jean Berridge of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Lois Stiger, Helen Kittle, and Eleanor Reihing, and brothers, Ray and Ned Bowers. A graveside service will be held at Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2011. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Joyce may be given to the Clay-Genoa EMS, 101 E. 6th St., Genoa, OH 43430.
