Joyce M. Digby

Joyce M. Digby, age 85, died peacefully Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Northwest Ohio Hospice. The daughter of Esther and Leonard Rieck, she was born on March 27, 1933 in Toledo, OH. Joyce found contentment in her role as wife and mother; she derived most of her personal satisfaction from her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to all types of music and being in nature. She is survived by her children, Linda Roberts, William (Sandi) Digby Jr., Lewis Tolbert, David (Carol) Tolbert, Cynthia Johnson, Michael Digby, and Douglas Digby; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Peterson and Leona Weideman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Digby Sr.; son, Randal S. Digby; sister, Marilyn Riley; brothers, Carl Osten and Roy Osten; and her parents. Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (West of Corey Rd). Funeral service and interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Joyces name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donors choice.
