Joyce L. Coppler, 85, died unexpectedly Thursday evening in her home, January 27, 2011. She was born September 21, 1925, in Fostoria, Ohio, to George R. and Blanche M. Hollenbaugh Willcox. On July 27, 1946, in Fostoria she married Denzil C. Coppler, who preceded her in death August 3, 1992. Joyce had been employed as a VP and agent of Great Lakes Insurance Company for 16 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa, where she was a very faithful volunteer. Joyce was a member of the American Legion Post #324 Auxiliary and a past member of Genoas former Business and Professional Women. One of her favorite memories was traveling to Jerusalem, which she enjoyed very much. Joyce enjoyed playing the organ and made friends very easilyespecially her lunch bunch at R Cafe in Genoa. Joyce will be missed by all who loved her. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Linda K. Drinkwater of Millbury, granddaughters, Cherie Drinkwater and Jennifer Maenle, great granddaughter, Grace Maenle and two great grandsons, Kyle Maenle and Cullen Rucker. Her parents, husband, sister, Amanda Collins, brother, Earl Willcox, and son-in-law, Delmar Drinkwater, preceded her in death. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home, with the American Legion Auxiliary service, and then followed by a gathering at Trinity United Methodist Church, 303 Main St., Genoa. Interment will be in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. Memorials for Joyce may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the donors choice.
