Josie Lynn Matthews, 42, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Monday, March 24, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 01, 1971 in Port Clinton, OH to James and Carolyn Warren Silverwood. On September 17, 1999 in Port Clinton, OH she married David Matthews, and he survives. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Husband: David Matthews; Children: Raysha Willis, Greg Willis and Kayla Matthews; Mother: Carolyn Silverwood; Brothers & Sisters: James Silverwood Jr., Moneak John Kopp, Georgianna Dan Blevins, Jerry Silverwood, Terri Silverwood and Jeff Silverwood; several loving nieces & nephews. Josie was preceded in death by her father: James Silverwood. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Thursday, March 27, 2014 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
