Joshua R. Goldsby, 36, of Perrysburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 14, 2017, at his home. Josh was born July 25, 1980, in Fremont, Ohio, to Donald R. and Deborah A. (Johnson) Goldsby. On July 21, 2001, in Perrysburg, he married Michelle L. Porter and she survives. Josh was a 1998 graduate of Woodmore High School. Having the skill and passion for taking things apart and fixing anything with a motor, he had worked for Tireman in northwest Ohio from 1998-2011 and then in November 2011 opened his business, Genoa Car Care, in Genoa. Josh and his family enjoyed sprint car races and fishing and camping together. He also loved the Cleveland Browns. He was a good poker player and played with the Sly Fox Poker League. Josh is survived by his wife, Michelle, daughter, Emily and son, Ethan, his mother, Deborah (Karl) Kruse of Woodville, father, Donald (DeAnna) Goldsby of Elmore, sisters, Heather (Andrew) Kruse of Elmore and Amber Goldsby of Martin, four nieces and two nephews, and grandparents, Gerald Goldsby of Elmore and James Johnson of Woodville. His grandmothers, Ellen Goldsby and Dorthy Johnson, preceded him in death. Visitation for Josh will be 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017, in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in care of the children
