Joshua T. Brown

Joshua Taylor Brown, age 23, of Sylvania passed away suddenly on May 31, 2014. He was born September 30, 1990 in Toledo to Charles D. and Donna L. Holbrook Brown, Jr. He was a 2009 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, attended The Ohio State University and was a 2014 graduate of Lourdes College with a Bachelor of Business degree. Joshua loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and spending Saturdays watching them with his family and friends. He was also very passionate about writing, creating and recording music. His bright light and contagious smile will be missed. As the youngest child and grandchild, Joshua was devoted to his family and was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. Surviving are his parents, Charlie and Donna; brothers, Bradley Ashley Brown and Drew Molli McReynolds Brown; nephew, Andrew Brown; grandparents, Virginia Siewert and Donald Holbrook, Charles D. and Bonita Brown, Sr. and Joe and Jackie Staab; his beloved dog, Kosmo; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and the Buckeye family. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Wednesday from 2-8 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. Josephs Church, Sylvania. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Sylvania Community Action Team SCAT, 4747 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
