Josephine Cieply Wojcikowski Josephine “Jo” Wojcikowski, 95, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 in Medina, Ohio, where she resided for the past two years. She was born in Rossford, Ohio, to the late Antonina and Paul Cieply on April 13, 1925. Jozia (Jo) was a devout Catholic, proud of her family and her Polish heritage. She was respectful to everyone especially those who served our country in the military. She worked many secretarial jobs but most often spoke of her time with General Mills in Rossford where she worked prior to starting her family. She is survived by her four children: Kathryn (Randall) Schnepper, of Medina; Dr. Kenneth (Celeste Hartman) Wojcikowski of East Ballina, NSW, Australia; Marsia Wojcikowski, DVM, (John Rocheleau) of Dakota, IL; Joyce Wojcikowski (Abraham) of Bowling Green, OH; grandchildren: Matthew Schnepper of Ellicott City, MD; Danielle (IJ) Abot of Folsom, CA; Andrea Abraham of University Place, WA; Allyson (Daniel) Petrek of Cincinnati; Jesse Abraham of Redmond, WA; Alexis Abraham of Daytona Beach, FL; Finn Hartman of East Ballina, NSW, and cherished great-granddaughter Charlotte Abot of Folsom, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Alfred A. Wojcikowski; sister, Mary Cieply, brothers, Joseph Cieply, Peter Cieply and John Cieply, niece, Paulette Geiger and nephew, Peter Cieply. Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd., Rossford, Ohio 43460 on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11 A.M. with visitation an hour before in the church nartex. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. Jo would not want anyone to get sick, so we request you follow social distancing and all recommended guidelines. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, Rossford (419-666-1566). In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to All Saints Catholic Church and because we cannot have a meal together at this time, please treat yourself to a hot lunch.
