Joseph Stahl, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born on April 22, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio, Joseph lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a commitment to his faith.
He was a proud graduate of Rossford High School, class of 1982. Joseph worked many years at Glasstech, where his work ethic and commitment were admired by all who knew him. Joseph married his wife, Stephanie (Zawojski) Stahl, in 1988, and together they built a wonderful life filled with laughter and support.
Joseph is survived by his loving spouse, Stephanie, their daughters, Kara Martin (married to Robert) and Abigail Stahl, and his cherished granddaughters, Alaina and Tessa Martin. He was also surrounded by the warmth and love of his siblings: Lori Spohn (partner to Don Finnegan), Patricia Heban (married to Norb), and Michael Stahl (married to Nancy), who will carry forward the memories of their brother.
Joseph was an avid golfer, a former hockey player, and a beloved member of his community. He was a devout parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church, where his faith helped guide him through both joyful times and challenges. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joann (Duly) Stahl, and a brother, Timothy Stahl.
The family of Joseph Stahl invites all who knew him to join in honoring his life. Visitation will take place on October 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Homes & Crematory in Rossford, Ohio. A second visitation will be held on October 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. Joseph will be laid to rest following a graveside service at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery at 11:15 AM, where his legacy will be honored.
As we remember Joseph, we celebrate a life filled with warmth and the unconditional love he had for his family and friends. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those lucky enough to have called him a loved one.
