Joseph Allen Joe Rowe

Joseph A. Rowe, 60, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at The University of Toledo Medical Center with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born on February 17, 1953 in Beckly, West Virginia to William M. “Mont” and Viola Mae (Lachney) Rowe, Jr. He married Nancy Anna Laws on August 4, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio. Joe was a 1971 graduate of Macomber High School. He worked through the Teamsters for 30 years. He loved shooting pool, playing cards, the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Browns, his torrid red Challenger and vacation time, but most of all; he loved being with his family. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 39 years of marriage, Nancy A. Rowe, children, Josh (Holly) Rowe, Jake (Alicia) Rowe, Joey Rowe and Nickel (Kyle) Groesbeck, grandchildren, Nathan Comstock, Cassandra Rowe, Jessica Rowe, Jacob Rowe Jr., Lilly Rose Rowe, Jude Rowe, Jax Rowe and Ryder Groesbeck, father-in-law Harley (Mary) Laws, Jr. and sister, Susan Rowe and Debra (Bill) South and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on May 8, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551 (419-874-3133) where a funeral service will be held on May 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
