Joseph J. Pawlinski

August 14, 1947 — March 16, 2022

Joseph John Pawlinski, 74, of Toledo passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022, after a battle with illness. He was born on August 14, 1947 in Toledo to the late Stanley and Aurella (Mikolajewski) Pawlinski, where he was raised alongside his three sisters.

A graduate of Macomber High School in 1965, Joe went on to work for various charity organizations in downtown Toledo as well as the TPS Bus Garage. Upon retiring, he went on to work as a car part delivery driver. Joe had a love for photography, traveling, cars, and nature. He was particularly fond of his collector and matchbox cars collection, with his prized possession being his red Mazda Miata.

Joe was always there for his family. He was dependable, loyal, and was looked up to from an early age. His sister will cherish the memories of playing Cops and Robbers, Cowboys, and fighting with him over who gets to control the radio when younger. His family will remember him as a quiet, sensitive man who put others first. His family members, family dogs, and children will all miss him dearly.

Joe is survived by his sister, Julie (Skip) Agnew; nieces, Alice, Angela (Jason), Coni, Georgia; nephews, Matthew, Aaron, Ronald, Jack; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Angeline (Ronnie) Winslow, Alice (George) Hibbs; nephew, Jesse Winslow.

Services for Joseph will be held privately. Flowers can be sent to the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
