Joseph B. Miller

Joseph B. Miller, 51, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at home. Joseph was born on December 11, 1965 to Foster and Arvella (Sampsel) Miller in Oregon, Ohio. Joseph married his beloved wife, Lisa (Gray) Miller on November 27, 1993 and she survives. Joe was a mechanic for vehicle maintenance for the United States Postal Service in Toledo for over 27 years. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a volunteer Fireman for the Jerusalem Township Fire Department for the last 15 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Miller; children, Craig (Ashley Brandon) Weidner, Christie (Kyle Eischen) Weidner, J.J. (Melissa) Miller, Jamie (Josh) Miller; six grandchildren; and brother, Foster (Kathleen) Miller. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Arvella Miller and brother, Ronnie Miller. Friends will be received at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon, Ohio 43616 (419-691-6768) on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2-8 PM. with Fireman’s Last Call service beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM. with Pastor Rita Bair, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Curtice. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Jerusalem Township Fire Department or to Joe’s family.
