Joseph A. Lusiak, 66, of Williston, OH passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Luther Home of Mercy, where he had been a resident since 2012. He was born on March 20, 1958 in Toledo, OH to Henry and Sophie (Wilkolek) Lusiak. Joe was previously enrolled at Lott Industries (Telegraph), Connections in Oregon, OH and Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, OH.
Joe was the ultimate avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and showed his loyalty to his team by daily donning on Ohio State clothing and accessories! He enjoyed all kinds of music and dancing. Time and routine were important to Joe, paying special attention to his clock to make sure he would not miss his bus ride or The Ellen show! Joe’s personality brought joy to all those he crossed paths with, wanting to know their names and to tell them he loved them! He will forever be remembered by his family and friends for his contagious smile and kind and happy spirit!
Joe is survived by his brother, Henry Lusiak, sister, Donna (Tom) Lee and brother, Christopher (Tami) Lusiak, nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jenna, Justin, and Briannon Lusiak. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.
Memorial services for Joe will be conducted 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Luther Home of Mercy in Cottage #6A, Williston, OH. Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Denise Brown at 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2024 at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Joe may be given to the Luther Home of Mercy. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
