Joseph LeFevre age 57 of Maumee, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday September 22, 2012 in his home. Joe was born in Toledo on June 12, 1955 to Carl and Marlene Kaminski LeFevre. . Joe is survived by his loving wife Frances LeFevre. Joe worked for the Maumee Stamping Plant in Maumee for 30+ years, most of his adult life. Joe was a UAW Chairman, committeeman and worked production until his retirement in 2008. He was very well known for helping the entire membership at the plant. He was loyal to the UAW and worked for the National UAW on many sub-counsels. Joe was loved by all of the people and he did everything possible for the employees. If they had a problem Joe was the one that the employees would look up. Joe would help all of the employees because they needed him to straighten out the problem and correct the issue. Joe was an avid and loyal fan of the Cleveland Indians and also the Cleveland Browns. He loved his sports and watched them whenever they were on. In addition to his loving wife, Fran, Joe is also survived by his brother Jerry Kelly LeFevre; sisters, Janet Terry Doughman, and Julie Carnicom. He is also survived by his three stepsons Steven PamHoke, Paul Debby Harper and Quenton Annette Sallows. Joe loved all of his nieces and nephews. Matthew, Kayce and Abby LeFevre, Michael and Lisa Singleton, Sara and Nicole Carnicom and great nephew Hudson Murphy. He also loved his grandsons, Steven Jr. and Sean Hoke. Joe also has an adopted daughter Lisa. His parents preceded him in death. Joe will be missed by all who knew him. The people in the plant, all of his football buddies and friends he has made. Joe never knew a stranger he was friendly to everyone. Joe will be missed by his family, more than words can say. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am.
