Joseph B. Koerper, 62, of Toledo, was escorted to our Lord on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born July 24, 1952 in Tiffin. He graduated from Calvert High School in 1970 and earned his degree in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University. Joe was a regional manager for Emerson Process Management, the company he was employed with for over 37 years. A devout Catholic, Joe was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church where he was currently serving on the Pastoral Council and was active in the ACTS retreat community. He also coached CYO sports for many years at Little Flower, touching many lives. Joe also enjoyed golf and exercising at the St. James Club, but found his greatest enjoyment in spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Joes faith was an inspiration to many. He had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother and was an avid supporter of the pro-life movement, spending countless hours in prayer. He will also be fondly remembered for his positive demeanor and for the uplifting bear hugs offered to everyone he met. Those left to cherish his memory include: his mother, Marjorie Koerper; former wife and friend, Carole Koerper; daughters, Jessica Daschbach, Amy Koerper and Megan Koerper; grandchildren, Jimmy, Abby, Kyle, Blake, Bella, Cameron and Isaac; siblings, Bob (Cathy) Koerper, Jane (Larry) Cook, Mike (Carol) Koerper and Teresa (Dale) Kramer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard, and son, Ben.
