Joseph Martin Kamer, Sr

Joseph Martin Kamer Sr., age 79, of Fremont Indiana and formerly of Delta, Ohio died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Parkview Regional Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born January 9, 1936 in Swanton, OH to Charles F. and Rose Marie (Fisley) Kamer. Joe enjoyed cooking, NASCAR, watching old westerns and of course his Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. Joe is survived by his children, Joseph (Remona) Kamer Jr., Gregory (Kathy) Kamer, Tina Bartlett and Travis (Sherrie) Kamer; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Shepherd and Caroline (Bob) Werner as well as his brother, Amil Kamer. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Rose; grandson, Joseph “Joey” Kamer III as well as his son-in-law, Norman Bartlett. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland, OH (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Randy Trowbridge officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
