Joseph J. Jablonski, Jr. age 63 of Toledo passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Regency Hospital, Toledo with his children by his side. He was born August 2, 1953 to Joseph and Lillian (Evans) Jablonski, Sr. and graduated in 1971 from Macomber High School where he played football. Joe was a painter with the City of Toledo for over 35 years. His children were his life, he coached them in sports while in school and continued to coach them in life lessons as they matured. He was a loyal Detroit Tigers and Lions fan and a loyal, fun loving friend with a great sense of humor to all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his children Joey and Kala Jablonski; former wife Lori Jablonski; and brothers Chris, Phil (Gina) and David (Cindy) Jablonski. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Monday from 2-8 PM where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (theMMRF.org).
