Joseph G Gill, Jr

Joseph G. Chip Gill Jr., age 50 of Maumee, OH passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 12, 2015.  Chip was born in Toledo, OH on May 29, 1964 to Joseph G. and Betty E. (Aberl) Gill.  He was employed as a Foreman for Snowden Construction and Provo Construction. An avid sports fan, Chip loved the Detroit Lions, Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He also enjoyed golf and attending his childrens sporting events.  The youngest of eight children, Chip was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.  He will be deeply missed. Surviving is his wife, Molly; daughter, Shannon Gill; sons, Joseph and Ian Gill; Father, Joseph G. Gill Sr.; siblings, Colin (Sandy) Gill, Pam (Mike) Zbierajewski, Kevin (Marge) Gill, Patti (Dave) Cousino, Vicki (Rod) Doty, Chris (Mary) Gill and Laurie (John) Adams. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty E. Gill; sister in-law, Kathi Gill and nephew, Patrick Gill. Family and Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm with a scripture service to be held at 7:00 pm.  The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 104 W. Broadway in Maumee. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
