Joseph S. Garry

Joseph S. Garry, age 75, of Sylvania, passed away January 25, 2018 at his home. He was born May 31, 1942 in Akron, served in the U.S. Air Force and operated several restaurants in Toledo, including Hot Dog Haven, Toledo Hot Dog and Luigis Pizza. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and horse racing, raising and training his own race horses. Surviving are his children, Lisa Wilson, Lori (Greg) Mariucci, Leslie (Jeff) Wood and Joseph E. Garry; former wife, Gail Garry-Pantanella; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Garry; and step brother, Gary Jacob. He was preceded in death by his father, Sullivan Garry; mother and step father, Lena and Robert Jacobs; grandson, Gregory Wilson; sister, Melanie Gigi Garry; and step brother, Robbie Jacob.
