Joseph P. Daly

Joseph P. Daly, born February 19, 1937 in Chicago to John F. Daly and Frances M. Roderick Daly, passed quietly at Hospice in Perrysburg April 8, 2011. Joe served 10 years in the Marine Corps after he joined in 1953. He received the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal. Joe wishes to thank all the Marines that visited, and especially those he became good friends with over the years. He also wishes to thank the people who have helped him, contributed to his life, and loved him. Surviving are his sisters, Patricia Richard Dutkiewicz of Monclova, OH and Judith Daly of Florida; brothers, Thomas Daly of Toledo, Michael Daly of Toledo and John Sue Daly of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother, David Daly preceded Joe in death. A Military Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 1:00 pm in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.
