Joseph D. Crandall, age 69, of Toledo, died December 29, 2017 at his home. A devoted son, Joe was born July 14, 1948 in Toledo to the late Harry E. and Agnes D. (Kujawski) Crandall. He was a 1966 graduate of Sylvania High School and served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Vietnam War. Joe was employed as an inspector for the City of Toledo Water Department for more than 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and collector of vinyl records, comic books and Santa Clauses. He is lovingly survived by siblings, John (Sue) and Jane (Steve) Spencer; sister-in-law, Judy Neipp; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Crandall; sisters, Joanne Cwiklewski and Judy Crandall; and special nephew, David Crandall. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
