Jose G. Ibarra

Jose “Wally” G. Ibarra passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at Legacy of Perrysburg. Wally was born to the late Basilio Ibarra and Reyes Martinez on December 12, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas.

Wally loved fishing, working on cars, and new home projects.

He is survived by his children, many nieces and nephews, including his special niece Alexandra Hernandez, and his sister & brother-in-law, Pauline & Pedro Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Donna, son, Steven, and sister & brother-in-law, Lola & Raul Hernandez Sr.

A memorial visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 5-8 pm. Wally requested to be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immaculate Conception Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy of Perrysburg for their compassionate care and support while he was in their care. Tio Wally will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
